About Me

My wife and I are proud to call northern Michigan home.  Alcilia is a family practice physician at Family Practice of Cadillac.  Together we have three fantastic children.

During law school I clerked with the US Attorneys Office in Chicago and the Austin Christian Law Center through a grant from the Public Interest Law Initiative through DePaw University.  I served as the president for the Kent Justice Foundation, which raised money to give grants placing students in public interest service during their summers.  I also interned with the US Army Judge Advocate Generals Corps which led me to the Army after graduation and passing the bar examination.

After six years on active duty, we returned home to Cadillac and joined our pratctices.

I currently serve in the US Army Reserves and maintain a busy practice here at home.

The measure of a lawyer can be made either by going up against him or trying a case with him at your side. I spent seven weeks in a jury trial with Jason Elmore at my side. That experience proved to me that Jason has the highest professional standards, an unmatchable work ethic, great common sense, and excellent legal reasoning. He is quick on his feet and unflappable in the courtroom. He also has a wonderful sense of humor. In short, Jason Elmore is everything a top notch trial lawyer needs to be. I wholeheartedly endorse Jason and would recommend him to my closest friends if they needed to hire an attorney.

I endorse this lawyer. I have known and worked with Jason for over 16 years. I first met Jason while both of us served on active duty in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps. Even back then, Jason had earned a reputation as a fierce and talented criminal defense attorney. Jason and I met up again after both us left active duty and moved to Michigan. Jason's skills and talents transferred quite easily to the civilian world and he earned the same reputation in his local community that he earned in the Army. Jason and I continued to serve together as officers in the United States Army Reserves serving in the U.S. Army Reserves Trial Defense Services where we traveled all over the country representing soldiers accused of offenses. I cannot endorse Jason more enthusiastically.
