About me

I am a litigation based attorney in Grand Rapids, focused mainly on representing women in family law matters. I am always interested and willing to help anyone out and enjoy facing new challenges in the legal field.

After spending my childhood growing up in the suburbs outside of Chicago, I initially moved to the West Michigan area to attend undergrad at Grand Valley State University and fell in love the the area.

I want my practice of law to mean something to my clients. I don't just want to help them get through a situation, I want a client to fell like I cared about their case and tried to help that specific client the best I could given their circumstances.

My diverse background of experience before coming to DAWN, I have interned at the Kent county Defender's Office, the personal injury firm of Drew, Cooper, and Anding, and running my own general practice, helps me understand and navigate each case with my own style and not as just another factual situation where a predetermined outcome should be plugged into the Court system.
