Chris Allen Houghtaling's Peer Endorsements

I used to work on the other side of the Courtroom from Chris when I was with the Muskegon County Prosecutor's office. During that time, Chris was quite courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful to me as a rookie prosecutor while still effectively advocating for his clients. Many people do not realize that a well prepared defense attorney, and not necessarily the loudest and rudest, is the greatest tool in getting better plea bargains for clients. I truly learned as much from Chris as I did my supervisors. Now I am a defense attorney myself and I still find myself operating in the mold of Mr. Houghtaling.
