I highly recommend Gary Springstead. He demonstrated experience, responsiveness and great character in an urgent matter, and provided service with a calm and friendly demeanor. He is very easy to work with.
I previously had not met Gary, but was referred to Gary by an unrelated third party to assist with a matter needing resolution within 48 hours. He immediately took my call, and we spoke on the phone for half hour to discuss the background details. He agreed to help me, and his assistant sent the necessary paperwork within an hour in order to retain services. What I didn't know is that he also rearranged his entire busy schedule the next two days in order to accommate my urgent matter.
This legal situation was new territory for me, so I met him in person at his office for what would end up a full day meeting. Gary walked me through the legal procedures and went over various terms to help my understanding of the documentation involved. He made it clear from the start that he was there to represent me and help identify potential pitfalls and adversity that could arise as we proceeded.
His ability to lay the groundwork of what could possibly, and realistically, happen given various scenarios increased my ability to make an educated and clear decision on how to proceed. I never felt as if I was being pushed in any direction, whether it be to his favor or not. I was immediately comfortable with Gary and felt he had my best interests in mind at all times. Throughout the meeting I also interacted with Katie, Gary's legal assistant, who was also very capable, friendly and helpul.
I can't say enough about the speed, expertise and friendly manner with which Gary was able to respond and act to help me resolve the situation. Again, I highly recommend his services.
Gary was very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable regarding everything we needed to know. His demeanor and professionalism exceeded our expectations. If every attorney services were needed again or someone was looking for an attorney, I would not hesitate to recommend Gary.
Gary was not only a nice guy and a professional lawyer, but he also produced results. He seemed to be well known and respected in the courthouse and it wasn't hard at all for him to get me what i needed with my case. 5/5 would definitely recommend him.
Mr. Springstead was a fantastic asset to my case. He was helpful, knowledgable, and available whenever he was needed.
I recommend Mr. Springstead to anyone in need of an attorney.
Gary Springstead was all around a very good choice for my defense. He promptly took my case with much confidence, and although being states away, he kept me informed with the process and truly showed compassion and care for the severity of issues I was facing. I would absolutely recommend him for any kind of defense, and specifically for festival related defense because it seemed to be his specialty. Thanks again to Gary!
From the time I made my first inquiry at springstead & Bartish, I was confident that Gary was the perfect fit for helping us with our sons legal matters that developed from the Electric Forest Festival. Although we live out of state, he was accessible and accommodating and provided us the oppotunity to handle parts of our case from afar. Gary is very knowledeable, attentive and clearly had my son's best interest in mind! We were extremely happy with the outcome of our case and would highly recommend Gary to anyone looking for an excellent attorney in Michigan!
My case was a tough one, charged with numerous felonies. It was an uphill battle throughout the hole ordeal. Gary used all of his knowledge and professional tactics, but was still unable to persuade my total innocence. But in the end, he was able to get a judgement that I am able to live with.
I am very pleased with his efforts and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgable, energetic and professional, and has numerous resources that he can draw from to help the case. He takes your case very seriously and whole heartedly.
Helped me with owi case, dropped it down to what I could live with. Made me feel comfortable throughout the long process.
This guy really knows what he is doing. With 15 years of experience in law, that is unsurprising. When I made the first phone call to his office to get a consultation, he dropped a lot of great points on how he could beat my case and why I should go with his firm. At first, they seemed too good to be true and I was suspicious of his points of defense, as I thought he was just trying to sell me on his service but he proved everything he said in the initial consultation as the case progressed. I urge you to at least give him a call for the consultation (particularly if your case is from Electric Forest or a similar event as I know personally that he has won many cases originated from there). He proved his brilliance when he wrote an unbelievably well-written motion to suppress. It was absolutely full of quote after quote, reference after reference. It honestly boggles my mind how he was able to to combine so many relevant sources into one paper. On top of all of his professional qualifications, he is an incredibly understanding person, which is a hard quality to find in most lawyers. He is in the business to help people with a second chance, not for the money.
Gary went to battle for us getting a OWI lowered to OVWI saving us $1,000 off the top and also a lesser charge completely dismissed (although prosecutor wasn't willing to do away w/ that driving w/ expired license charge w/o a fight so glad Gary went to battle for us savng us additional fines there). Felt confident from the beginning that he was absolutely the best choice to battle the DUI case showing superior keen knowledge of the complexities of this offense.
