Suzanne Lockwood Hayes

Throughout my life I have served in the school systems, womeh lawyer's group, politics, and various civic groups.  I currently work at Eaton County United Way as their Resource Development Associate.   My interests include photography and motorcycles.  I live in rural Hastings, MI with my husband. 

I have worked in the fields of criminal law and family law.   I have extensive trial practice from my years in District Court on the misdemeanor defense contract and as a contract prosecutor for the City of Kalamazoo.  I devote my law practice to Family Law matters.  I am licensed to practice law in Michigan and before the United States Supreme Court.

I currently sit on the Bar Fitness and Character Committee, reviewing applications of law school graduates who have issues in becoming members of the State Bar of Michigan.  I am proud to serve in this role, as it reflects on my professionalism.

Through Divorce Mediation of Barry County, I work with a licensed counselor, Randy Ailes, in the privacy of his office.  We help couples unravel their marriages in a cost effective, civilized manner.
