About me

Christopher earned his Juris Doctor from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, after several years working in law enforcement at the municipal and federal level. In addition, Christopher, owned and operated several personal businesses providing him a unique business mindset and approach.

During Law School, he was on the Dean's List, a Merit Award winner and participated in the 60+ Estate Planning Legal Clinic. For more than thirteen years, he has been actively involved in residential, commercial and the property management aspects of real estate.  Prior to opening his office, he was most recently with a Michigan real estate company operating in nearly twelve counties...and prior to that, worked for the largest real estate management firm operating in the United States managing 1000 rental homes.

To assist his former clients in real estate he obtained a Michigan Real Estate Broker's License. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar, American Bar Association, Washtenaw County Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. In addition, he is a member of the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors and both the Michigan and National Associations of Realtors.

I endorse this lawyer's work. Chris' practice is client-focused. Chris does real estate closings, short sales and probate work. I have referred several people to him because they didn't need or weren't ready for a bankruptcy. Chris is patient, a good listener, reassuring and extremely competent (by the reports back I get from the referrals). He thoroughly examines a situation and works with the client to come up with a custom plan of action and flawlessly executes the plan, resulting in many happy clients. Of course, success in a legal endeavor is never assured and Chris fully briefs his clients as to possible outcomes. Chris is honest and caring as a person as well as a lawyer. I highly recommend Chris Sevick.
