I hired Steven Reed to help me with some post judgement matters. My father was my atty., but he does plaintiff's personal injury, and the opposing party did not take my father seriously as my attorney. He would return things and title them "response to Plaintiff's father's request," and he would address all of his correspondance to "the grandfather" My father is great at what he does, but he couldn't continue to take time away from his own practice to play these silly games. My child is everything to me, so I knew I needed to call in the "big guns." I have used Steven several times throughout the years, and this man is an amazing advocate. At first, I didn't get why he was doing things (I am a third year law student and we think we know everything); he told me to be patient to get the results that I want. The opposing party constantly hararssed me, and it was so hard for me to keep my mouth shut. Steven reminded me that when I become a lawyer, I will face this type of behaivor all the time, and he taught me how to practice restraint. I have gotten all the results I have asked for and more. He is aggressive, he doesn't take any crap, and he tries to handle matters in a cost effective way. I was worried that my school schedule was not going to allow me to be present for a very important hearing, and I emailed Steven with my concern. I barely hit send, and there was a response from him already. I couldn't believe it. He sent me a notice of hearing so that I could show the dean, and he offered to appear for me if I was not allowed to attend. Erin Mash, his associate, is a wonderful attorney who will take the time to speak with you, explain things, and her friendly dispostion calmed me down several times. I am a third year law student, and I think I know everything, so I gave her a hard time about one of the motions she drafted. She made the corrections, Steve examined it, and they made sure it was drafted to my satisfaction. His associate, Erin, never appeared resentful because of my comments, and she took what I had to say and acted accordingly. He is expensive, but he tries to cut down costs where he can. You get what you pay for, and you get a great lawyer!!!!! I can't say enough about Mr. Reed, he is a great advocate. He will listen to your objective, and he will do everything he can to achieve that goal for you. If you want a bulldog who will get results, you want Steven Reed. If his prices scare you, think of it as an investment. He will get you results that will be life changing. He is worth every penny!

I was so impressed with the quickness of this lawfirm. Everything they received on my case was quickly copied and sent out to me. I also could always reach my attorney via e-mail. Any question I asked was always answered within hours. No waiting around for contact. Even if I called the office, my phone call was always returned quickly.
Mr. Reed helped me reach a settlement which was more than I was hoping for. Not only is Mr. Reed a great attorney, his entire staff really went that extra mile to help me get through my Divorce. I would come into the office after a bad argument with my husband and felt welcomed and embraced.
I recommend this Attorney to anyone in need of a advocate who will do all of your worrying for you and fight for what you deserve.

Mr. Reed is a caring involved lawyer. In my case he was as concerned about me as a client as he was about the legal issues. What impressed me most in my research is that he is a winner. He is a bulldog in court, and his results were as promised. He always kept me up to date on where we were in the process, and most importantly he kept my head straight. One thing that impressed me about him was his thoroughness and attention to detail. He knew things about the opposing party that even I did not know. His fees seemed like a lot at the time, but being a businessman I checked the other firms and found he was only slightly higher in price than average. I was surprised to get his bills and see many "no charge" hours. Now that the case is finished I think it was the best money I have ever spent. Although he was not available every time I called him, he always returned my calls the same day I left a message. He even called me once on a break from a seminar he was attending, and on a Saturday afternoon he called me from the U of M stadium. For anyone who cannot take straight talk, he may seem a bit aggressive. He tells it like it is, and was not shy about bluntly letting me know how my actions were hurting my position and what i should do to minimize problems. He does not suffer fools well and is very aggressive in his dealings with opposing counsel. . He expected me as his client to take an active role in my case. and to be totally truthful with him. I learned not to be embarrassed in sharing things with him that did not show me in the best light. He was not judgmental but did make serious effort to help me through the life-altering, emotional highs and lows of the case. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who is in need of a strong advocate who will fight for you from start to finish.
