    Description:
    Client accused of inappropriately touching a child he was babysitting. The Prosecution refused to consider all of the evidence that suggested client was innocent. After a lengthy trial, client was acquitted of all charges. The jurors shed tears with my client on the courthouse steps and expressed their sympathy to him for what he had to go through to prove his innocence.

    Description:
    Client's computer contained over 100 images of child pornography. Client maintained innocence throughout case. Prosecution's case was built on flimsy evidence and a weak theory. The Defense presented absolutely no evidence in this case and simply relied upon its arguments to the Jury. Jury did not feel case was proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

    Client accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend and a friend of hers. The "alleged victims'" injuries were actually caused by a fight between the ex-girlfriend and her friend. Josh vigorously crossed examined the alleged victims for almost an hour to shed light on the truth. The Jury deliberated for less than one minute setting a record in St. Clair County for the shortest jury deliberation on record.

    Client accused of attacking the mother of his child during a dispute over parenting time. Baby momma was the actual aggressor. Lesson of the day - yes, a female can be the aggressor in a domestic dispute. Just because the male is the one who is arrested (like 99% of the cases) doesn't mean that he will not be vindicated by a jury of his peers.

    Description:
    Client was accused of burning down his own house to collect on an insurance policy. Client was convicted after a lengthy trial. UPDATE: Michigan Court of Appeals overturned client's conviction based on a legal issue that Mr. Rubin perfected during the trial. The Prosecutor decided not to go through another trial. Client was later featured in a statewide publication on exonerated defendants. The client’s appellate attorney later commended Mr. Rubin on his trial work and strategy.
