Bruce is a partner of the firm and was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1950. He is a Registered Civil Mediator. He has over thirty years experience in resolving disputes using the variety of techniques offered by litigation avoidance, talking with the client and the opposing lawyer to determine the interests and issues of the dispute so as to reach an amicable resolution, alternative dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, dispositive motion practice, trial to the bench or to jury, and appeal in state and federal courts. He is a member of the firm’s insurance, environmental and toxic tort practice groups. He is married and has two daughters.

- He has litigated complex commercial cases involving environmental pollution liability, asbestos, diacetyl, chemical exposure, toxic tort, products liability, construction defects, pharmaceuticals, fabric flammability, underground storage tank and reinsurance issues.
- Represents national and regional property and casualty insurers, including the London Market, and reinsurers, as either lead counsel or local counsel for national law firms in all aspects of insurance coverage litigation, with emphasis on environmental and toxic tort claims.
- Represents clients in relation to environmental law, including advising and defending clients in negotiations and litigation with U.S. EPA, U.S. Department of Justice, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and related administrative, court and appellate proceedings.
