After hiring somewhat reluctant Mr. Kramer to represent my mother (who had recently suffered a stroke) in a pretty standard foreclosure case, I was under the impression that at least all the basic filings and motions with the court would be handled, and they were. Motions and answers were filed in a timely manner. However, the issues began to emerge when it came time for mediation. The creditor requested certain financial information from my mother in preparation for the mediation, which by the way is optional to attend. Nonetheless, we (my mother assisted by her sons) planned to attend for a workout. Given my mother's health and condition, however, gathering all the information proved to be a difficult and time consuming task. Then strangely seemingly out of nowhere Mr. Kramer demanded that was get the creditor's paperwork to him for work-out by a certain date and time (end of business on Wednesday) or else he would quit the case. What??? In any case, I sent the completed documents to him on that Wednesday on behalf of my mother. No further correspondence. That's when I was surprised to find a couple of months later that Mr. Kramer had withdrawn himself from my mother's case. I contacted his legal assistant to verify, and she confirmed. I asked what happened, and she mentioned the documents. However, I confirmed the documents had been sent. There was no response. No admission of error. Just dropped the case...just like that. Perhaps he was too busy with other non-generic cases, perhaps there were other reasons. However, this kind of attorney behavior towards clients relying on legal representation at a critical time borders on unethical. It certainly isn't moral, if he even cares what that it. At the very least, you might expect an apology and a perhaps an offer to re-represent as counsel. Not even that.
My wife and I were very nervous at the beginning. Scott was there to answer any questions, and he made the process very easy. I would highly recommend his services.

Sometimes, despite my best intentions, things don't always turn out the way I thought they would. Personal financial decisions I thought were calculated risks turned into a devastating tumble down the road of life. Stressed, emotional, and embarrassed I felt I wasn’t in control anymore. I didn’t know who to talk to or where to turn. If I didn’t act soon my financial life would be dictated by others. I needed discrete, professional help.
I went on the internet to research my options and start the ball rolling in the right direction. I looked at debt consolidation, buy down, and bankruptcy options. I needed to talk to someone face to face instead of on the phone. I needed someone who could discuss all the options and tell me the consequences of each. I came across Scott Kramer on the internet and gave his office call to set an appointment. Soon I was sitting in Mr. Kramer’s office telling him about my circumstances. Mr. Kramer listened to me and put me at ease. I began to feel the stress lift as he explained the different options and we began to formalize a plan of recovery. I decided the best option would be bankruptcy.
Throughout the process, Mr. Kramer was always available to answer my questions and keep me informed of what was going on and what was going to happen next. I was in the capable hands of an experienced advocate that is known and respected in the local courts. The court discharged my debt and now I’m rebuilding my credit. Thank you Mr. Kramer.

I can't say enough about Mr. Kramer. The decision to file bankruptcy was the most difficult decision we have faced so far, but after having our initial consultation with Mr. Kramer, our fears were put to rest. We were planning a Chapter 13, but do to unforeseen circumstances regarding employment, we ended up filing as a Chapter 7. He kept us informed every step of the way, and presented the facts in easy to understand and honest terms. Our case was discharged and closed without issue. We have our fresh start, and we owe it all to Mr. Kramer!

There are no words I can use to describe how I want thank Mr. Kramer. My case was complicated and I went to see 3 other lawyers before going to see Scott Kramer. Nobody knew what to do with my case and some wouldn't even try to do it. But Mr. Kramer knew exactly what to do and I was so thankful he took my case. He knows his job very well and was very patience with me with my hearing loss as well. Working with him and his team was a wonderful experience. I received word from Mr. Kramer yesterday that my bankruptcy case had been discharged. I still had 3 years left to pay on it. He did an amazing job on my case. If you go with Mr. Kramer as your bankruptcy lawyer, you will not be disappointed. I will refer anyone and everyone to him who needs his services. He is simply amazing at his job. I feel I was very well blessed the day I met Mr. Kramer and he was kind enough to take my case. God bless you Mr. Kramer and thank you for everything you did to make this experience as easy as possible on me. Thank you

Scott Kramer was referred to me due the detail and complexity of my case. After interviewing several attorneys the choice to work with Mr. Kramer was clear. Several meeting took place over the course of a year and at present we receive follow-up and confirmation our case is being handled properly and professionally. Mr. Kramer put into action the plan best suited to our situation. We are confident his representation, of me and my companies, benefitted all to the best of our abilities.

Scott Kramer turned my financial life around. He is not only knowledgeable and very professional in his character but made me feel very comfortable and confident that there was a solution to my financial distress. After spending nearly two years trying to fix matters on my own and simply digging a deeper hole, Scott was able to take my situation and turn it around and within months my burden had been lifted and I was once again able to sleep at night and not fret every time the telephone rang. Without Scott's professional service I could have never solved my financial problems on my own. It was the best decision I ever made and only wished I had made it sooner. I couldn't believe the time and effort Scott put into my case and yet his fees were fixed. This is a man that's very dedicated to his profession.I would definately recommend Scott Kramer to anyone who needs a very trustworthy and professional lawyer. During my entire Chapter 7 process with Mr. Kramer , I was kept informed on evey aspect of the process which was all so new to me. Even his staff were very friendly and professional.

Scott Kramer is a professional and personable attorney whom I would highly recommend to others. I have noted several qualities in his work style and in his office on which I make this recommendation.
When I first chose to pursue bankruptcy, I had a specific idea in mind of the kind of attorney I wanted to retain. Scott was one of the first recommendations made to me. This told me he had a good reputation.
Scott’s in-office appointment manner is a confident combination of straightforward talk and clear client respect. He puts one at ease with how he mixes the business of the law with a comfortable conversational style. I considered bankruptcy for quite awhile before actually proceeding, and had initial concerns that the process might be a cold exercise in legal actions and paperwork. Scott is very effective at communicating steps to take and needed information in the context of a comfortable, sometimes-humorous atmosphere. His effectiveness took much of the potential “coldness” out of the equation.
Scott openly welcomes calls and emails. I had many of both, and he was always promptly responsive and patient with my inquiries. His willingness to stay connected with me in these ways further contributed to my peace about how my case was being handled.
Regarding patience – during my own experience I was late from time to time in providing requested documents or responding to information requests. I also had a late-in-the-process change in my filing orientation. At no time throughout my experience was there ever any expression of irritation or frustration. I certainly could have completed my formal filing much sooner had I handled my own tasks sooner or better. Scott was continually gracious throughout my own delays.
Scott’s office staff reflects these same characteristics of Scott himself. For me and (I’m guessing) for others, the bankruptcy experience can be a difficult and potentially demoralizing time. The staff, like Scott himself, consistently interacted with me in respectful and empathetic ways. I realized over time that the staff, by the way they did things, was helping to create assurance in me almost to the degree that Scott himself was doing.
Finally, Scott was willing to provide referrals to other attorneys outside his own scope of practice. During my bankruptcy process, I had a need for a different kind of attorney, and Scott made a recommendation to me on which I ultimately followed through. That other attorney proved a great help to me, validating the quality of Scott’s recommendation. And while recommendations or referrals may seem to some to be just a normal part of professional conduct, I looked upon Scott’s recommendation and the subsequent productiveness of it as another extension of his client-focused manner.
Scott will serve anyone well who has a need for bankruptcy counsel and representation.
