I am an attorney with the Hammond Law Group, LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio. My practice is limited to obtaining temporary and permanent work visas for health care professionals.
Much of my time is devoted to handling cases for physical therapists and registered nurses because those are the cases for which the firm handles the highest volume; however, I regularly work on cases for other allied health care professionals such as pharmacists, occupational therapists, medical technologists, speech therapists, etc.
I am married and have three children. I enjoys activities with my family, NASCAR auto racing, football, baseball, movies, reading and poker. My iPad is attached to my right hip and I do much of my work with it.
I was born and raised in Corning, New York. I attended college at Cedarville University in Ohio. i graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1994. Throughout law school and after graduation, I worked at the Hammmond Law Group, where he continued until I left to open My own practice inn 1997.
For the next eleven years, I focused my practice on criminal defense. During that time I handled thousands of criminal casses at all levels, from local municipal mayor’s courts all the way up through the state trial court system and up to federal trial and appellate courts. I participated in countless bench and jury trials before magistrates, judges, and juries, and filed appeals at state and federal levels.
In 2008, I decided it was time to return to the practice of immigration law. I rresumed my employment with Hammond Law Group in October of 2008 and haas been working there ever since.
I have established myself as a competent practitioner widely knowledgeable in matters relating to the acquisition of temporary and permanent visas for healthcare professionals. I writes on a regular basis and is actively involved in daily social media communication through the use of my blog, Facebook, Twitter, and other related mediums.

If you are looking to file an H-1B non-immigrant visa for a Physical Therapist, look no further. Dwight Myfelt is an expert in this area of immigration law. I strongly endorse his legal work in this very difficult practice area. Indeed, he is especially adept at obtaining visa approvals through the hell hole otherwise known as the US Consulate in Manila, Philippines.
