Alex practices mainly in the areas of consumer protection law, employment law and divorce law. He began his career at the Cincinnati office of Cordell & Cordell, P.C., the largest “fathers’ rights” law firm in the United States, where he represented men almost exclusively and developed expertise in the many complicated issues that arise in divorce, dissolution, post-decree, child custody and child support cases.
Alex continues to handle many divorce, child custody, and other family law cases, and is also proud to also be able to help people who have been unfairly treated at work or by an unethical business.
Alex has experience handling “lemon law” cases (suing car manufacturers over defective new cars), “auto fraud” cases (suing used car dealers who sell defective cars with undisclosed damage or take advantage of consumers in other ways) and other cases under the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act (Ohio's most significant consumer protection law).
Alex’s employment law experience includes representing people who have been sexually harassed at work, discriminated against because of their race, national origin, disability or gender, wrongfully terminated (such as for complaining about sexual harassment) and "wage-and-hour" cases where an employer has failed to pay overtime or shorted an employee's paycheck.
Alex is an extremely dedicated attorney who works exceptionally hard for his clients, and is able to meet with clients during the evening or over the weekend to accomodate their schedules. He offers free consultations for consumer protection cases and employment law cases.
