Teresa Fout began her legal career in San Diego, where she worked as an associate for a Trusts and Estates firm, administering estates, probating wills, and litigating will contests.
She was then hired by the San Diego City Attorney's Office as a prosecutor, where she spent much of her time in jury trials prosecuting a variety of crimes ranging from shoplifting and illegal drugs to DUIs. She also spent time working closely with local government and elected officials on projects aimed at bettering the community by proactively reducing crime.
Upon relocating to Ohio, she opened a law practice specializing in matters related to the family: divorce, dissolution, probate, and adoption.
Teresa has volunteered with Project K.A.R.E., Stark County Hunger Task Force, Pregnancy Support Center, and Kids Against Hunger - through her membership with the Stark County Junior League and First Christian Church. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member in the paralegal programs at Brown Mackie College and Miami Jacobs Career College.
