Mr. Madorsky talked a great game during the interview process. he repeatedly talked about how he had over 30 years of experience in nothing but divorce. once the papers were signed and the deposit was paid, all I got was smoke blown up my backside. He was full of bluster, and constantly talked about how the opposing lawyer was "an idiot". The other lawyer who did not have half the experience, and did not specialize in divorce beat us like we were red headed step children. Mr. Madorsky was not even able to get any court orders enforced.
Every time I brought up the court orders, he would talk about how he was going to call the news outlets (locale tv stations and local paper) and tell them how I was being discriminated against (as if the local news outlets were interested in hearing from the losing side of a divorce case). He did not do anything through the court system to get the orders enforced.
Near the end of the proceedings, he demanded that I file for a bankruptcy in order to buy time for him to get the orders inforced (he had a year to get that done, and failed). He had said if I did not file for bankruptcy he would quit as my lawyer.
This was 3 days before the finale court dates in the divorce. long storry short, the judge did not buy the bankruptcy deal and recognized it as a cheap ploy to buy time. The judge held it against me (the bankruptcy filed as a delay tactic). At one point near the end of the trile, Mr. Madorsky actually had the nerve to tell me that I should bow down and kiss his feet for doing such a wonderfull job for me. The truth of the matter is, I could have done better with a new law school grad then with this piece of worthless %$#@. I really wish I was the one who hired the opposing lawyer, I would have came out on top with everything I wanted, and probably a lot more.
Under no condition should you hire this lawyer, do not walk the other way, but run, unless your goal is to loose your case and get billed thousands of dollars to boot.

Larry Madorsky was my attorney 10 years ago. I gave him $1000 in cash. He claimed to never have recieved it. I gave him two $1000 money orders. He never gave me credit for them on my bills. When I asked him why there was no credit for the money orders he told me to pove that he cashed them. He did nothing to help my case. He only prolonged my divorce. When I told him I didn't have any more money, after about $10,000 he told me to get another attorney.

A friend recommended Mr. Madorsky. I am so glad I chose him to represent me. I didn't want the divorce. I am glad that I had him in my corner.

Larry Madorsky was very vague at the onset of my divorce and I was led to believe he was working for me. He continuously ignored my calls and never explained the proceedings to me. He withdrew as my attorney without explaination 2 weeks before my final judgement hearing and after he failed to help my children get child support for months on end and everything was reposessed including vehicles and everything after two years of litigation my children were starved out and I was put under extreme duress and was forced to sign a new agreement from Richard Rieth to forfiet everything I ever owned just to get any child support and I to this day have never collected the arrearage in upwards of $16,000.00 thanks to an incompetent lawyer. He is still coming after me for fees for services her never produced.

I hired Madorsky to represent me in a contempt case of Spousal/Child Support after CSEA let the ball drop on my deadbeat ex. CSEA kept promising they were filing contempt charges for over a year & never did. Turns out one doesn't have to hire a lawyer and I should have been informed & sent on my way to the old County Courthouse as there is an office for the prosecutor that only represents clients of CSEA for FREE! I was working P/T for $8/Hr. When I asked his fees I was told by Madorsky that it didn't matter as my ex would be paying my legal fees. Turns out at $250/Hr he expects me to pay and has refused to take my calls to discuss the matter. In the judgment of the case (of which I wasn't even allowed in to hear nor speak at), the magistrate awarded him no more than $1200 for legal fees and he now demands & is suing me for $3,500. Madorsky lost over $20,000 in arrearage money that I was suing my ex for! I was left with $5,000 that is payable over 2 yrs. He didn't know the law!
