Ryan K. Rubin is a founding member of Mannion & Gray. In addition to being licensed in Ohio and Kentucky, he has represented clients in more than ten other States around the country. Such cases often involve complex issues and significant alleged exposure. For example, in defense of one mass tort claim involving a train derailment in Chicago, Ryan completed over 400 depositions leading to the successful, no-pay dismissal of his client.
The majority of his time is devoted to representing the interests of individuals, professionals, small businesses and large corporations in matters involving but not limited to: litigation, risk management, policy creation and implementation, construction defect, medical and legal malpractice, engineering, fire loss, environmental, products liability, premises liability, primary casualty, contract preparation/ interpretation/ negotiation, and transportation.
Ryan has Martindale-Hubbell’s highest attorney rating, AV-Preeminent®. For 2012, 2013, and 2014, Ryan has been named a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers. He has presented to fellow attorneys at numerous continuing legal education seminars on brain injuries, medical malpractice, use of exhibits at trial, use of technology in trial, HIPAA, and ethics. He has also consulted with and presented seminars on risk management to various corporations and medical professionals.
Ryan earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was a member of the Honors Court and the National Mock Trial team. He received his B.A. at Miami University where he was a member of the Rugby team. He is active in Cleveland’s civic affairs as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Cleveland chapter of the American Jewish Committee (AJC).
