I endorse this lawyer wholeheartedly. I had the opportunity to work with Mr. DeVan on significant matter because I knew the defendant well. Mark is obviously a proficient and dedicated lawyer. The case was a complicated one, involving numerous motions, including pre-trial motions and briefs, a pre-trial hearing and a trial of about 7 days over most of 2 weeks. Mark worked effectively with the client, his family, other lawyers, and investigators and consultants. He managed the case excellently throughout, including the gathering of evidence, preparing for witness testimony and cross examination, jury selection, and conduct of the trial itself. He showed excellent judgment about what aspects of the case deserved extra attention and which ones didn't. His fine work and the successful outcome are consistent with what one would expect of one of the finest criminal defense lawyers in the area. I have since made referrals of others to Mark and have received very positive reports back.
