I am originally from Toledo, Ohio. Born and raised in the Toledo area, I attended undergraduate school at Lourdes College in Sylvania. After Lourdes I attended the University of Toledo College of Law. While attending UT, I participated in the Criminal Law Practice program. This is where a student will intern in a local prosecutor's office. I worked in the Bowling Green Prosecutor's office for a semester. This has given me a greater understanding of the criminal justice system, and prepared me for criminal defense work. Additionally, as a member of the Law Review while at law school, I was the assistant managaing editor. Wanting to stay in the Toledo area, I opened my practice in Sylvania, Ohio in 2008.
In 2013 I joined the law firm of Handwork & Kerscher, LLP. We practice in real estate, taxation, probate, estate planning, commercial litigation, business law, domestic relations, and criminal.
