    Description:
    Lucas County Probate Court case. This case involved the changing of bank account designations by an individual who we argued was not competent - the account was made joint and survivor with a bank employee. After discovery was completed the case was settled with my clients receiving 90% of the amount in dispute.

    This was a Lucas County Probate Court case involving the challenge of the validity of a trust and a will. It also involved many predeath transfers of assets by an individual who was elderly and susceptible to undue influence.

    This was a Wyandot County Probate Court case which pitted a second wife against the surviving children of the decedent. A declaratory judgment action was filed asking the court to award the decednt's farm land to my clients, the surviving children. After discovery and mediation the case was settled giving my clients the majority of the rights to the farm land. The land was sold and the clients obtained a settlement of over $250,000.

    Description:
    This was a will/trust contest case in Hancock County Probate Court involving farm land owned by the decedent. I represented the grand-nieces/nephews of the decedent and we challenged the validity of the decedent's will and trust. After discovery was completed, a settlement of 50% of the value of the farm land was obtained and our clients received a seven figure settlement.

    This was a case which took place in the Lucas County Probate Court. In this case we represented a grandson against a non-related "caretaker" who was also power of attorney. This "caretaker" was deeded the decedent's real estate when decedent was susceptible to undue influence. I served as co-counsel in this case and after several days of trial the case was settled to the client's satisfaction.
