About Me

I have broad experience with Workers' Compensation issues, handling cases at every level of a workers' compensation case, including but not limited to, administrative hearings and courts all over Ohio, including the Tenth District Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Prior to joining Weston Hurd, LLP, I was a staff attorney at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, LLP, where I handled workers' compensation matters for large retailers, construction companies, manufacturers, and small businesses, as well. My prior work history also includes: Perez & Morris LLC, where I was the sole Workers' Compensation practitioner and service as an Assistant Attorney General in the Workers Compensation section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office. While serving as an Assistant Attorney General, I provided legal representation for the Bureau of Worker's Compensation and the Industrial Commission. This opportunity allowed me to gain invaluable trial and appellate experience.

Supreme Court Cases:

- State ex rel. Johnnie M. McBride v. United Home Care and Industrial Commission
- State ex rel. Roger M. Smith v. Veach Trucking, Inc., and Industrial Commission
- State of Ohio ex rel. Grimes Aerospace Co., Inc. v. Industrial Commission of Ohio and Wesley Miller
- State ex rel. Jeffrey Luther v. Ford Motor Company Batavia Transmission Plant and The Industrial Commission
- State ex rel. Howard E. Stamm v. Harm and Ring Mechanical, Inc., and Industrial Commission
- State ex rel. Ellis Super Valu, Inc. v. Industrial Commission of Ohio and Susan B. Hudgel
- State of Ohio ex rel. Delmar Collins v. Almar Realty Corporation and Industrial Commission
- State of Ohio ex rel. Schwebel Baking Company v. Industrial Commission of Ohio and John A. Mihin
- State ex rel. John Barker v. International Truck and Engine Corp. and Industrial Commission
