Nathan Pieri is the proud son of parents that both served in the United States Air Force. His family settled in the Columbus area in the mid 1990’s. Nathan attended Ohio University on an academic scholarship, and it was there that he first discovered his passion for the law--particularly criminal defense. He soon realized that he wanted to help the citizens of Ohio, especially those living in Franklin County, and the best way he could do that was to become an attorney. This realization prompted him to enroll at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.
During law school, Mr. Pieri worked as a law clerk for the Ohio Attorney General where he gained knowledge and experience in a variety of practice areas, but he was always drawn to criminal defense. Upon graduation he joined the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office in Columbus. As an attorney with the Public Defender, Mr. Pieri handled thousands of criminal and traffic cases, including hundreds of DUI cases. He achieved hundreds of dismissals of criminal charges, and many dismissals or reductions of DUI charges as well.
After spending over 3 years with the Public Defender's Office, Nathan decided that he needed to change the way he provided representation to the citizens of Ohio. This decision prompted him to form Pieri Law Office, LLC. The clientele has changed dramatically, and despite his successes in the courtroom Nathan believes that no traffic ticket, or case of any kind, is to small for the attention of a good attorney.
