I am licensed in Kentucky, Ohio, and the United States District Court Eastern District of Kentucky.
I do not let my clients get taken advantage of by the system. I do not talk at people like a case file or lesser person. Plenty of others in the legal system do those things enough. If everyone working within the criminal justice system, government, corporations, and insurance industry were always fair and just, criminal defense and plaintiffs' attorneys would not exist.
That being said, Please DO NOT speak with ANYONE about your case including and especially law enforcement, prosecutors, the judge, insurance agencies, or an opposing party's attorney. If you are contacted for such information, before responding first contact me or politely decline any response until you've had an opportunity to speak with me.
I am good at what I do and passionate about it. I know when and how to stand up and fight to achieve favorable results for my clients. I pride myself on fighting for each client skillfully, fearlessly, and professionally like I would for myself or any loved one. That's what every person deserves and the law demands no matter the case or circumstances. However, I am not a magician so I will also be open, honest, and realistic with you about the law and the circumstances in your case. Every case is different. That being said, I am confident in my skills no matter the circumstances of a case. I have been involved in some very difficult cases but have yet to experience a case I could not positively impact with my skill and creativity. I will always do my best to protect your rights as well as keep you updated on what to expect once I have all the necessary information and an opportunity to fully investigate and study your case.
I have successfully tried numerous difficult, complex cases to jury verdict. I have won trials that probably should have been lost based on the facts. I have achieved countless successful outcomes for my clients prior to trial including dismissals of all charges. Multiple issues I have litigated have also resulted in successful appeals. In 2014 and 2015, I was nominated and selected as one of the "10 Best" Criminal Law Attorneys in Kentucky for client satisfaction by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys. However, every case involves risk and often requires the courage of my clients to stand strong even when it seems the weight of the world is on their shoulders. There are rarely, if ever, any guarantees as to the potential outcome of a case, but as your attorney I will always fight for what is right for you in your particular situation to achieve the best possible outcome.
I look forward to each new professional opportunity to help another person. Whether or not the battle for your life, liberty, and security can be won without ever going to war, now is the time to prepare for a fight, not flight, because flight will cost you much more than money. Even when it feels like the rest of the world is against you, as long as I'm your attorney, I'll be by your side ready to stand up for you every step of the way. And if you don't have me in your corner, you can only hope I'm not in theirs. Good luck and best wishes.
