  • IN KY IF YOU DONT HAVE AUTO INSURANCE AND ARE HIT BY A DRIVER WHO WAS CLEARLY AT FAULT; WILL THAT DRIVERS INSURANCE HAVE TO PAY?

I LIVE IN KY. I WAS DRIVING A VEHICLE THAT WAS NOT INSURED. WHILE DRIVING HOME A VEHICLE CROSSED THE YELLOW LINE TO PREVENT HIMSELF FROM REAR ENDING THREE STOPPED VEHICLES. AS HE CROSSED OVER HE CAME IN MY PATH. I WAS NOT ABLE TO STOP AND HIT HIM....

Unfortunately, Kentucky is a no-fault state. What that means is the first $10,000 of medical bills are the responsibility of the car that you were in. If you had no insurance, then the at fault driver is not responsible for the first $10,000 of your medical bills. I'm sorry that you suffered this unfortunate injury. I would strongly recommend that you contact an attorney to help you out with the rest of your claim for pain and suffering and any medical bills over the first $10,000. Good luck

Had chest pains and I have a long history of anxiety

As any of the other attorneys have indicated, there would need to be more medical information in order to properly answer this question. I can tell you that if there is a medical emergency and medications or alcohol in your system can affect your emergent treatment, they can do so.
