Miles Mason, Sr., JD, CPA, practices family law exclusively serving clients in west Tennessee from offices in Memphis. An active member of the ABA Family Law Section, Miles is past Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and served on the Editorial Board of the Tennessee Bar Journal. Currently, Miles serves as the ABA Family Law Section's Liaison to the AICPA.
Miles is a member of the Memphis, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations and their respective Family Law Sections, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Tennessee Society of CPA’s (TSCPA).
Miles often takes his expertise on the road, presenting seminars across the country on divorce trial practice involving complex financial issues, forensic accounting, and business valuation for attorneys, CPA’s, and business valuation experts.
Miles Mason, Sr. has authored four books including The Forensic Accounting Deskbook: A Practical Guide to Financial Investigation and Analysis for Family Lawyers, published by the American Bar Association. The Forensic Accounting Deskbookis an easy-to-follow introduction to the world of forensic accounting and managing divorce litigation involving complex assets. His other books include: The Tennessee Divorce Client's Handbook, Tennessee Parenting Plans and Child Support Worksheets, and Tennessee Parent Relocation Law. Often interviewed by the media, Miles is frequently asked to comment on topical legal issues. Active in the community, Miles has taken on leadership roles and has served on boards for several non-profit organizations, including President of the Christian Brothers High School Alumni Association; the Board of Directors of the Marguerite Piazza St. Jude Gala; and the Co-chair of the Board of Directors of the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ).
Miles is married with three children. He enjoys Alabama football, cycling, travel, shooting, and reading.
