I practice in numerous areas of civil litigation, including commercial and contract litigation, insurance, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation, employment law, landlord / tenant law, collections, probate / estate litigation, products liability and veterans’ disability claims. My priority is my clients – to give them strong advice and timely, effective and efficient legal representation. If litigation becomes necessary, I will zealously advocate their interests in the state and federal courts of Tennessee.
I am a native and lifelong resident of Knoxville and East Tennessee, except for time spent in college and serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1993-97. While in the Navy, I was privileged to serve aboard the U.S.S. Eisenhower as a squadron intelligence officer.
Outside of the office, I am a husband and father of three, and I enjoy reading (especially history and politics) and camping with my sons. I am an active member of Redeemer Church of Knoxville. I am also privileged to serve on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, the local branch of the nation's largest youth mentoring organization.
