About me

Practicing law is an honor.  My belief is that since law is a profession rather than merely a business, the lawyer's duty to the client is paramount but obligation extends to the Court system, to the public at large and to a system of governance that promotes justice and fair treatment for all.

If I couldn't litigate, I don't know what I would (or could) do.  A semi-serious goal is to try a jury trial in every Tennessee county before I die or retire.  I've got about 80 or so of the 95 counties-- the courthouse pictures that appear at random throughout our firm's web site are part of my jurisprudential safari.

I've recently begun serving as a civil mediator and enjoy using different skill sets in attempting to assist parties reach monetary and emotional settlement where hopes of resolution were slight.

Kreis and I have been opposing counsel in more cases than I can recall. On every occasion he has been straightforward and represented his clients with intelligence and passion. He is everything a lawyer should ever hope to become.

I endorse this lawyer. Mr. White has been my opposing counsel on many claims over the last 17 years. His dedication to representing his clients firmly but fairly is obvious in all that he does. Although we are on opposite sides of a claim when we meet, Mr. White is unfailingly courteous, respectful and pleasant to all. He is a credit to the profession.
