About Me

I am an accomplished attorney with over 15 years experience --  8 years in "large firm" environments -- managing simple and complex litigation matters, commercial transactions, and general corporate issues.  I work closely with corporate clients to help them navigate the legal issues impacting their business goals and objectives, with a focus on increasing profitability and decreasing liability.

I have developed extensive skill in managing multi-million dollar business transactions, including due diligence, issue resolution, document and contract negotiation and drafting, execution, and post-closing matters.  I also have broad experience and success in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation negotiations through pre-trial motions to trial and appeal, with a cumulative success rate of over 90%.  I have developed superior research and drafting skills, of immense value to both pre-trial motions and business contracts and agreements.

►►► Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and Established Companies:  I have the experience and expertise necessary to guide and protect you and your business so that you don’t have to worry about legal issues; you can worry about doing what your business does best.  I have represented businesses in industries as diverse as health care, technology, telecommunications, construction, and retail, in legal issues ranging from formation and development to mergers and acquisitions; from contract and agreement negotiation and drafting to employee hiring, management and termination; from commercial transactions and financing to intellectual property issues; from employee stock incentive plans to sale or dissolution of the company.

To make sure that your business is operating with optimal legal protection, call me at 205/565-9259.
