About Me

Prior to entering the legal field Alan worked for over 10 years in the construction industry. He served as Project Manager, Estimator and Vice President of a Birmingham, Alabama underground utility contractor.


Alan completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is registered as an Engineer Intern in the State of Alabama.


In addition to the full time practice of law, Alan serves as Adjunct Professor at Jefferson State where he teaches Contracting & Construction Law.
