    • I recommend Jennifer Lizotte.
    • I hired Jennifer 6-12 months ago.
    • Jennifer handled my Landlord / Tenant matter.

Ms. Lizotte helped us with a serious landlord eviction issue. She put forth more effort than we would have expected from a lawyer. She took care of all contact. She also made herself available to us after hours. Thanks to her the issue has been resolved. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking legal protection in such an event.

Stay away from this "Devry" educated attorney!! She is clueless, irresponsible, and the only way she knows how to make money is going after your home insurance policy, should you have a claim. In my case a company who I hire for a service in my home, flooded my house when he was there. Lizotte wanted to go after my insurance company, which I declined as I didnt want to pay the deductible since I didnt cause the damage, and I didnt want my premium to go up. I asked and asked why the firm wouldnt go after the company who flooded my home, and next thing I know I received a letter from Lizotte withdrawing from the case. It doesnt take a scientist to file a claim with your own insurance company. I couldve done that myself, and not pay her the 25% she charges from the total of the claim.

      Lawyer Comment:

I am always distressed to hear about a prior client who is dissatisfied with my work, especially when I feel I gave this client more attention and time than most attorneys in the community with absolutely no pay. Despite the fact that I did obtain an offer of settlement on this case, of which the client refused, and worked countless hours in an attempt to obtain a higher settlement offer, this client did not show up or call to two pre-scheduled appointments at my office. The appointments were made after hours to accommodate this client's schedule and were a huge inconvience to me (I am a parent of an adult with disabilities and work on weekends and after hours must be planned in advance with a caregiver). Unfortunately, I had no other choice but to withdraw from representation on this case. I do hope her next legal counsel was able to pick up where I left off and this client received the settlement she deserved. Best of luck and no hard feelings!
