Thomas S. Hudson

I've been practicing law for 28 years, beginning with 6 years as a prosecuting attorney in Cleveland, Ohio.  My criminal law experience includes over 300 jury trials, from traffic violations to felony drug trafficking offenses in State and Federal Court to death penalty murder trials.  I've been trained as a Florida Breath Test Operator, and am certified as an instructor in the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests promulgated by the U.S. Department of Transportation.  I have also been trained as a "DRE" or Drug Recognition Evaluator.  I am one of fewer than 50 lawyers nationwide, and only three in the State of Florida, who have passed the national DUI Defense Board Certification test administered by the National College for DUI Defense.

As a personal injury lawyer, I have been active since 1987.   We have handled over 2000 personal injury cases, and were responsible for one of the largest personal injury verdicts in Sarasota County, Florida in 2008.  ($1.5 million dollars for a dogbite case.)
