I have worked with Donna for over 20 years, in the matters of Estate Planning, and Elder Law. She is knowledgeable, competent, easy to work with, and she truly cares about the people she helps! She is not only the attorney I recommend to my clients, she is my own attorney as well. I have worked with other attorneys in town, but none can compare to her level of compassion and competence. She is down to earth and takes time to explain complex issues. She is just excellent!
For eight years, Donna Sobel has helped me as a POA managing my elderly father's affairs.
I highly recommend her. She helped in an emergency situation in 2006 and in all the years since. She is caring, competent, efficient, and affordable.
Donna Sobel is an excellent Elder Law attorney. My family and I have worked with her multiple times over the past 5 years. She is trustworthy and caring and is willing to take the time to explain risks, legal ramifications, and choices. She exhibits leadership in her field, taking the initiative when new laws related to estate planning and elder care are passed. Her services are a bit more expensive than other attorneys doing similar work, but it is well worth it when it comes to estate planning and elder care. Issues related to estates and elder care can be a *nightmare* without the appropriate legal planning. If ever in a courtroom setting, I would want Donna on my side, never on the opposing side! She's fantastic!
My siblings and I had no idea how we were going to take care of our mother when her Alzheimer's progressed to the point she could not longer live with one of us. There simply was no money to pay for a nursing home. Donna and her staff not only helped us through the Medicaid application process, they also provided moral support during some very dark hours.
Wow, Donna is an amazing person. I understand why she went into Elderlaw. She is the perfect bridge between our older relatives and the younger generation of "caregivers" and "decision makers." In this world of corrupt brokers and carpetbaggers, it is a breath of fresh air to find such a talented professional.
