I fight for Justice and agressively defend my Client's rights. I bring 26 years of courtroom experience to your side of the table. My rates are affordable, my service is professional and my reputation is well known throughout the 20th Judicial Circuit.
Upon graduation from Syracuse University Law School, I moved to Ft. Myers and worked as an Assistant State Attorney until April 1990. Since 1990, I have maintained a General Trial Practice with a heavy concentration of criminal cases. I am admitted to practice in Florida.

I served on the Second DCA Judicial Nominating Committee and a past President of the Lee County Legal Aid Society. I have volunteered my time/resources to mentoring, the Cape Coral Junior Leadership Law & Order program, local H.S. Mock Trial competitions and the Florida Bar’s Justice Teaching Program.
Locally, I currently serves on the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Lee County, The Edison Festival of Light, and the SW Florida Council of The Boy Scouts
of America,as well as regularly volunteer with the Lee County Bar Pro Bono projects. Additionally, I have served on the 2012 Edison State College Presidential Search Committee. I am member of two (2) Chambers of Commerce. I was also a long term board member with the Nation's Association Charities. I have repeatedly spoken at Lee County public schools as well as Lee County's Student Leadership Conference. I was a main speaker at the Ft. Myers U.S. Courthouse's first naturalization ceremony.
I am married to his High School sweetheart, Denise P. Fernandez (formerly O'Reilly) and am a proud father of three incredible daughters, Desiree, Mariah & Gabrielle as well as proud grandfather of grandson Jonathan Patrick. I have coached girl's soccer/softball teams. My family has lived in Cape Coral since 1989 and we active members at Grace United Methodist. where I have led three Mission Teams.
Over the years, I have been nominated for several judicial vacancies and it is my sincere wish to one day serve in the capacity of a Trial Judge.
