For separating parents, the process of agreeing to a shared parenting arrangement for their child/children can be an unpleasant experience. If you are in that situation you need to have a lawyer with strong negotiating skills to represent you and guide the process in a direction that represents your interests. If it appears that an arrangement cannot be negotiated and it is going to trial, then a judge will decide what is in the best interest of the children.
In that case both sides will be telling the judge their side of why things should be decided in their favor. Both positive and negative aspects of each parent will be uncovered and considered. At this point you better hope that the lawyer you have retained is an experienced, skilled and aggressive litigator not just a negotiator. Recently I was involved in just such a case.
I am so fortunate that I picked Christopher Yeazell out of dozens of other possible family law Attorneys. I am so impressed with him. He is the consummate professional and the complete legal representative package. When his considerable effort to negotiate a fair parenting arrangement failed and the matter went to trial, his professionalism became very evident.
Like a skilled teacher, he put forth the facts in an organized and crystal clear manner, like a skilled surgeon, cut through the lies to expose the truths, and like an elite soldier, defended and attacked with timely precision. I was not sure this case could be won, but he was positive and reassuring every step of the way and a very favorable decision was the result of his expertise.
Some other terms that could be applied to Attorney Christopher Yeazell are: Courteous but aggressive, responsive, accessible, cost conscientious, thorough, and diligent.
For me, it all added up to a winner.
