I had the pleasure of practicing with Donny in Florida. He is conscientious and works diligently for all of his clients. Based on Mr. Kilfin's credentials (and that of his partner) as well as the information provided on his website, I decided to call for an initial review. From the moment I first talked with Mr. Kilfin I knew I had selected the right attorney. He listened carefully to everything I had to say and then fully explained the issues involved with my case. He explained each element of the charges, enumerated the specific points of the law which would impact my case, and ensured that I understood everything fully. He then outlined the measures he would take (in collaboration with his partner) to defend me if I chose to retain him as my attorney. Only after I had been given everything I needed to know was the issue of cost(s) mentioned...costs which I found very reasonable. I then requested an in-person meeting wherein he immediately made room for me on his schedule. He is very personable and knowledgeable and took as much time as I needed in order to be comfortable with my decision to retain his firm. Meeting personally with Mr. Kilfin only confirmed that I had made the right choice. During the time he represented me, I was kept informed of every action taken related to the case. More than just a client-attorney relationship, he expressed and demonstrated genuine concern for me. Due to his persuasive written arguments and personal contact with the prosecutor, the charges related to my case were dropped. I give my highest recommendation to Mr. Kilfin.

Through his professionalism,compassion,knowledge,understanding,and dedication,Mr.Kilfin guided my son and my family through the most difficult period in our lives. Always quick to respond to any of our phone calls or e mails, Donny kept us up to date on the progress of my sons case throughout the entire time it took to resolve it. The outcome he achieved for my son given the severity of the charges was nothing short of miraculous .It gave a young man a second chance at life and kept a family together when the future was looking bleak. Mr. Kilfin listened to me very intently and has spent long time explaining the legal poceedings ,step by step making sure that I do understand it all. All my concerns were addressed,every single phone call was very promptly returned,every legal action was discussed.I was always informed of the progress of the case and expected outcome.

I got into some trouble early on in the year. It was marijuana related and it was just a pain in the butt, what I had to go through. I wanted a lawyer who would settle the case for me and Donny did exactly that! Excellent lawyer.

At the beginning of our relationship I was very nervous and I soon learned to rely on his knowledge, reputation and skill at delivering for me in court. He explained and continued to explain a complicated system to me and helped me make good choices throughout the process. He did everything he said he would do for me. I didn't know Donald or his firm, but I needed a new lawyer to get a very serious felony matter resolved. I took a chance on him after speaking with him and his partner. This was one of the best decisions of my life. Donnie reviewed the information in the case diligently, timely, and was responsive and acted upon the information. He was focused and developed an exceptional understanding of the case which resulted in the best possible outcome. He did not drag the case out and worked in a timely manner to get things done when it was appropriate / available. Hiring Mr Kilfin was the best decision I could have made to help my grandson. He was always available to explain what was going on with the case and the best way to proceed for the most favorable outcome. He definately went above and beyond for us. Donnie takes a personal interest in cases. He simply does not go through the legal motions. His intense and passionate enthusiasm for his clients is unsurpassed in excellence. I unfortunately was on the short end of argument with a disrespectful step-daughter full of f**** GD language. Treasure Island's finest look at an older man and a 22 year old blonde and the result is obvious who was arrested regardless that both of us fell when scuffling over a garage door and the previous police visit just two weeks prior was the step-daughter assaulting her mother! Donnie did not focus on the inadequate local police comments and actions. He moved forward with what the case was and got it dismissed with amazing speed. Donnie immediately focused on alternatives and viable solutions. His course of action was spot on. He got the charge dropped and in fact, his actions gave the PA no option. He has the ear of the PA office based on his knowledge, expertise and past experience working in PA shop. I have worked with and have many friends as lawyers and would rank Donnie and his "can-do" attitude against the best of them. His persistence and focus is second to none!
Donnie knew the law, knew what the PA options were, and called my cell to keep me informed and answered my calls EVERY time. Donnie and Tim have the most effective ""team approach" to success I have seen among any group of professionals. I do not have a record of repeated arrests much less felony background but I have ZERO doubt what Donnie can offer to all clients regardless of background. He produces results!

Donald Kilfin had my charges dismissed within a few weeks of being charged by the police. He proved to the state's attorney that there was no evidence of wrong doing. I would highly recommend Donald James Kilfin. From the beginning of my case Mr. Kilfin worked VERY HARD on my behalf. I truly believe he ALWAYS had me and my families best interest at hand. I can tell that he worked hard to go the extra mile for us; keeping me informed of my options and working hard to fulfill our requests. I appreciated him so much that I recommended a friend from another state to hire him for their legal concerns. They too have been very pleased with how Mr. Kilfin directed and counseled them, continually advising them what would be best.
He worked hard to have my case dismissed, constantly sharing with me and my family all our options. He continually took my concerns to heart. I did not want my family and the community to be drug into unnecessary court time. He worked hard on our behalf to make this a reality. Always working to fulfill our requests to the absolute best in a burdensome situation. I was pleased with the outcome considering how my options became limited. My case was dismissed. I had 3 different ways that my case could be dismissed as I was thankful that Mr. Kilfin persevered for this to become reality. Mr. Kilfin is a Lawyer that practices from the heart.

Took us to the cleaners in the tune of 10k and wrote one letter to the prosecutors. Did not let us contribute to the case such as when we requested he inform the judge of extenuating circumstances. Would not allow us to submit family letters to the judge. Would not ask judge for drug treatment for our son even though he needed it and had never been arrested in Florida or had any convictions anywhere in the country and needed counseling and treatment desperately. Took our money and did absolutely nothing but write one letter and go to court twice. I will say that he was able to get adjudication withheld and the charge somewhat decreased a bit. However, he did't push for what my son really needed, counseling and treatment. My son did 8 months in jail when he should have been in treatment! In fact, he wouldn't even request it. Shameful!
