I strongly recommend contacting Chris Hersem for any moving/traffic violation needs. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and kept me updated at all times. He did an excellent job successfully handling my case.

This attorney is incredible. He made himself available to speak to me on numerous occassions and was extremely patient with my barrage of questions. He got my ticket dismissed by arguing the law properly and presented very well in court. I had heard he was good as he came highly recommended, but Mr. Hersem exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend using him for traffic or criminal or personal injury cases as he is extremely knowledgable of all three categories when I would ask him questions about those topics of law for unrelated matters. He also handled my ticket for a very fair price.

I was charged with a DUI as well as a posseion of marijuana charge earlier this year and just had my final court date. My possession charge was dropped entirely and my DUI (which I blew well over the legal limit) was reduced to a reckless driving. This was all thanks to Mr. Chris Hersem. He handled my case as if I was his best friend and went out of his way to assure excellent results. This was my first time ever being arrested or dealing with a lawyer. Chris was extremely patient with all my questions and explained everything throughout the entire process. He really helped me during an extremely difficult and embarrassing time of my life and I would recommend this lawyer to anybody who needs help or is going through similar situations. Chris was also great at communicating with me through e mail, texting, or phone call at all times during my case. A family friend referred me to Christopher to help me with a misdemeanor charge I was facing. From my experience, Christopher is an extremely intelligent, thoughtful, and dynamic lawyer with the best tools, community connections, and resources to get the best possible outcome in any case. He makes it look easy, but I know it isn't-he is a busy guy but treats every case with extreme priority because he understands that for the client, this is one of the most serious issues they are facing in their lives. He has a very professional demeanor, but you can tell he is such a genuinely nice person that you immediately feel comfortable around him and trust him to help you. In addition, he was very understandable about my financial issues at the time and will work somethng out with you.

From our very first meeting, all my unsettled feelings of anxiety, guilt, anger, etc. went out the window, and I felt a lot more relaxed and optimistic heading into my legal mess. I was facing an arrest warrant and he was so helpful in making sure I did not face any jail time for it, was with me at the actual sheriff's office for my intake to make sure it went smoothly, and called me immediately after to check-in. When it came time for my actual court hearings, he stayed on top of it 100% and kept in contact with me throughout the entire process, making sure I understood everything, even though I lived on the other side of the country.

Because of his knowledge, experience, and connections in the legal community, Christopher was able to get me enrolled BACK into an intervention program that I had already been accepted to months ago but because of some miscommunications, it was denied and my case had been sent back to the courts. I could have been facing jail time and would have been in a complete bind since I do live in a different state but he made sure that did not happen. I am extremely grsateful for all of his help. I have nothing but the highest praise to give to him and would recommend him in an instant to anyone.

I found Chris to be responsive, honest, and easy to talk to. He was very careful to explain all the details of my case, and followed up with me every step of the way. I didn't have to do anything except initial paperwork, and he called me the minute the case was resolved to give me the good news that it was dismissed. Can't really ask for much more.

I have used Mr. Hersem for a few different cases. My case was as bad as it gets, 3 driving on suspended arrests followed by a DUI (my second) all while on probation from my first one. Anyone familiar with these charges knows I was going to jail. Fortunately I had Chris in my corner with this. While facing up to a year in jail he was able to fight to the end and kept me out of jail completely.

The thing I like most about Mr. Hersem is his responsiveness to any questions I had. If anyone has dealt with other lawyers they know that getting a hold of them is almost impossible sometimes. This kept me extremely comfortable through the whole process and kept me informed of the daily progress he was making in my favor for the case.

I was pulled over for DUI. I didn’t blow. Needless to say I was very stressed. In one day your usual business suit is changed to the orange robe and a nasty bologna sandwich for lunch. And endless worries upon release. Luckily a friend referred me to Chris Hersem. Chris turned out to be an amazing lawyer, literally my savior. The video tape of my arrest was pretty bad: I was shaking, couldn’t do the tasks properly, my speech wasn’t clear and I even admitted that I drank wine. Based on the tape I thought it was over for me. But Chris tried to turn every little thing in my favor, managed to find some procedural inconsistencies in police officer’s behavior and created a wonderful image of me as an exemplary citizen of our society. Our goal was to keep pushing for a reduction to reckless. And at first prosecutors were adamant, that this will stay a DUI. But Chris kept pushing and pushing and weeks later I received a phone call saying that it got reduced to reckless. He went to the very top to get this reduced. I’m still not clear, how has he done it, maybe it’s his persuasion power or professionalism. One thing I know is that he got me out of seemingly impossible situation. He saved my career.

Facing a DUI charge was not a comfortable place to be. Mr. Hersem clearly explained to me every aspect of my case and what needed to be done to get the best possible outcome. Furthermore, he executed what needed to be done to get that outcome. I feel grateful I had his help and expertise. I would highly recommend him to anyone facing a similar charge.

I was charged with a DUI earlier this year in Pinellas County and Mr. Hersem was able to have the charge reduced to a reckless driving.
