About Me

I practiced nursing for several years before becoming an attorney.  My  nursing background is extremely valuable in my practice, from knowing standards of care to evaluating alleged injuries to taking expert depositions.  I represent clients in cases involving construction defect, wrongful death, personal injury, construction lien, medical malpractice, property damage, agricultural and commercial cases.  I also defend physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in licensure actions.

I am admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and in the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.  I frequently speak on various issues in Florida law, and I have authored many articles regarding aspects of Florida law.
