From my first meeting with Joe Bodiford, I felt completely confident that I was in the best hands possible. Because of his vast experience, he speedily accessed the necessary city and state departments to resolve my case quickly and positively.

I was charged with a crime which, if convicted, carried sentencing guidelines that could have seen me go to prison for up to 30 years. Mr Bodiford thoughtfully and respectfully heard my side of what happened, formulated a strong plan of defense, and literally saved me from a life shattering experience. The respect that the judge in my case and the prosecuting attroneys showed Joe in court was completely self evident and the fair resolution I recieved in my case was probably due as much to that as it was to the facts of the case. My college age son was arrested in Tampa about a year ago. I live in the Washington, DC area and knew no local attorneys. Joe Bodiford was recommended through the Florida Bar and I could not have gotten better counsel. Mr. Bodiford was professional yet understanding and personable. He kept me fully informed of each stage of the process and was happy to answer the many questions my son and I had. It is evident that Mr. Bodiford has many years of experience. He presented all the options we could pursue and their respective consequences, but also offered his candid opinion. Considering his practice, I knew this case was quite minor, yet we never received less than his full attention. He treated my son with respect and made him feel at ease during this difficult time. It makes such a difference when you are far away and terribly worried about a loved one to know he is getting the best legal advice and personal care. Anytime I called Mr. Bodiford, he knew exactly who I was, the details of the case and its status.

Once the crisis had passed, Mr. Bodiford transferred the case to one of his associates. Mr. Bodiford runs a tight ship; his associate exhibited many of the same professional traits and approached the case with the same commitment and care. The charges were reduced and all that remained to make us whole again was expunging the record. Unfortunately, before Mr. Bodiford's associate could complete that step, he passed away. Mr. Bodiford called to let me know that he would handle the expungement personally and that I should not worry because it was not time sensitive. Only the complete trust and confidence I had in Mr. Bodiford allowed me to relax and be patient. Mr. Bodiford is now arranging for the expungement. His office is so efficient and well organized that two mintutes after we started talking on the phone, he had my son's file at hand and recalled the history and status of the case. I have no doubt that all will go well. Mr. Bodiford is well respected in the legal community because he is a man of great integrity, honesty, and commitment to his profession.

I can't say enough good things about Mr. Bodiford who, in my view, is one of the best lawyers in Florida. He is skillful, knowledgeable, sincere and compassionate. He also has a lively sense of the ease with which we fall into fuzzy thinking. Instead of making empty promises at the outset, he delivers the most favorable results in the end. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Joe gave me reassurance at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed. It turned out that I didn't need an attorney after all and Joe immediately refunded the retainer. Unheard of. I would, absolutely, recommend Mr Bodiford to friends.

I was arrested for a VOP and Joe met with me in jail and really payed attention to my interests and scrutinized the facts of the case. His thorough examination of the case and translation of that in the courtroom allowed for him to be able to get my VOP dismissed. Joe Bodiford was very cooperative and adamant in returning phone calls, and scheduling visits. I would highly recommend him for any criminal case.

This was a first degree felony case. Joe was able to successfully resolve this situation without a guilty plea, no jail time and minimal probation requirements. Joe took a very,very tragic case and helped preserve my future. This was a case that had multiple layers and I could not have asked for more from an attorney.

From the outset, Mr. Bodiford was a man of character and handled my Criminal Mischief case like a pro. Once explained how I was being railroaded by the system from the very beginning, he had an immediate plan and had told me that not only could we win this case, but that we would also have the entire file expunged (which we did).

It is unfortunate that the law allows others the opportunity to blatantly go out to smear the good name and integrity of hard working and honest people in Florida, but I felt fortunate to have such a diligent and extremely knowledgable attorney like Joe. Not once did I ever feel like I was alone in my case, and I was assured that he had my back all the way.

My ex-wife had trumped up a malicious campaign against me and Joe saw through it from the very beginning. Look, I'm not a huge fan of attorneys (because I've had my fair share of bad ones in the past during my ex-wife's kidnapping of my daughter), but Mr. Bodiford sets himself apart from the rest. Whatever most of us feel about other attorneys needs to be set aside when dealing with Joe. He is a class act and a great attorney.

Unfortunately, I have had many run ins with the law throughout my life. The attorney's I chose to represent me in the past were always looking to close my case in the easiest way possible. They offered no explanations to me and the only time I even spoke with them was in court. I was recently arrested in a county where the police run the judicial system. It was a small town in central Florida in which I was not originally from. I was discriminated against by authorities and my case had many difficult obstacles. I was given a court appointed private attorney whom did not represent me in the least. I learned of Mr. Bodiford through an inmate who used him in the past. It's over! I was accused of three very serious crimes and facing 6 years in prison. The problem with the case from the start is the accuser was clearly lying. Only after consulting with 2 other attorneys did I meet Joe and I knew right away he was going to represent me. You don't find many board certified trial lawyers let alone one like him. Joe and his staff knew from the start that I was not guilty and treated me that way the entire time. His staff found critical details in the evidence that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. Because of all of the time and hard work that was put into my defense, I am pleased to report that on Oct 26th and 27th of 2011, I was acquitted of all three charges. The first acquittal for 1 charge came from Joe entering and arguing a motion to acquit which the judge granted at states rest! The other two charges were returned by the jury as NOT GUILTY! I must say he was just fascinating in court. Joe, I can't thank you enough. You stuck by me and now I get my life back.

Mr. Bodiford has been fantastic. His firm tracked & met all my court interactions so I did not need to appear at any hearings or other obligations. They secured my court documents for me & mailed everything to me in a very timely manner clearly indicating the nature of the documents and what I needed to do with them. My wife and I hired Joe to represent our son against several felony charges. At that time, our son was facing the potential of spending 40 years in prison. We live on the east coast of Florida and needed a lawyer in the Tampa area. Joe was one of the three names given to us by our criminal trial lawyer in the town where we live. He was aggressive when needed and he prevailed in the case by having the murder conviction thrown out. This was a very public and high profiled case.

His fees were fair and he was flexible with the payment methods as well. I would surely recommend Mr. Bodiford and his firm to anyone who is looking for a real attorney that you can believe in. We trusted him and he didn't let us down.
