Krista M. Anderson is an associate attorney at Brock Law. Krista was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and spent 3 years as a prosecutor for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa. As a prosecutor, Krista tried over 20 jury trials and 120 bench trials ranging from DUIs to serious felony offenses. She was selected to be the domestic violence prosecutor for both her misdemeanor and felony divisions. Her significant trial experience has translated well into her civil litigation practice, as she now focuses on personal injury and employment law.
Krista is a graduate of Stetson College of Law where she secured her solid foundation in trial skills. Stetson consistently ranks as one of the nation’s top trial advocacy schools and Krista was selected as a member of Stetson’s prestigious Trial Team, which competes around the country. While attending Stetson, Krista also served as an intern to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tampa, where she assisted prosecuting federal criminal cases. Outside of taking the required courses, she worked as an associate Editor of the Journal of Wildlife and Conservation, a teaching fellow for trial advocacy courses, assisted her trial professor in the completion of his trial techniques textbook, and played running back for her law school girl’s flag football team.
While Krista considers Florida her home state, she grew up in the military moving around the U.S. and Europe every three years. Seeing different parts of the world sparked her passion for travel and food. Krista earned her undergraduate degree in nutrition from the University of North Florida and has travelled extensively. She especially loves to plan her traveling adventures around snowboarding, boating, hiking, and triathlons.
