Gregory T. Zele is recognized by his peers as a top civil trial attorney in Florida. In 2010, Greg was voted a member of Florida's "Legal Elite" in a statewide poll of attorneys conducted by Florida Trend magazine - an honor bestowed upon only 1.8% of Florida's nearly 90,000 attorneys.
Greg concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability. He has handled a wide range of product liability claims against major manufacturers of sport utility vehicles, automobiles, tires, child safety seats, bicycle helmets and children's toys. Greg has successfully tried to verdict and negotiated multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of clients in cases involving wrongful death and serious injuries.
Most notably, Greg represented a former high school English teacher who suffered irreversible brain injuries when he was struck by a van while riding his bicycle. The West Palm Beach jury returned a verdict of $10.3 million on behalf of the victim and his wife.
In 2008, Greg Zele and Greg Huber won a $1.5 million verdict in a wrongful death case against Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in a case involving a defective tire which caused a van to rollover. The verdict is believed to be the first product liability verdict against Cooper in the state of Florida. The Fourth District Court of Appeal upheld the verdict in 2009.
Greg has lectured to national and statewide audiences of attorneys and expert witnesses in the areas of product liability and personal injury.
