Joel L. Mumford, Esq, began his career in full time criminal defense at the Broward County Public Defender's Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There he handled more than 1400 cases, and tried several cases with charges ranging from DUI, Suspended License, drug possession and other criminal matters as well. Mr. Mumford then practiced for several years as a private defense attorney with The Ticket Clinic of Kissimmee where he was lead trial counsel. Mr. Mumford was then appointed to serve as Chief Public Defender for his home county in Harrison County, WV, making him one of the youngest to have been appointed to such a position. While there his responsibilities included managing the entire Public Defender's Office for the 15th Circuit as well as personally representing clients with charges ranging from DUI to Murder. Currently Mr. Mumford is lead trial counsel for The Ticket Clinic's West Palm Beach office.
