    I represented the Wife in a case where the Husband owned his own business and was running all of his personal expenses through the business. The case law is clear that although you business is paying his bills, for the purpose of child support and alimony, it is income.

    We were able to get 50-50 custody of the children and the the Wife's income was imputed to be $45,000, which made the Husband's child support nearly nothing.
    Description:
    I represented a Husband that was very involved with his children. Because of the change in the Statute in 2011, every night he had his children was used to compute his child support. The Wife refused to work even though she had a college degree.
