I am a former U.S. Immigration Judge and have also served as Regional Counsel (Southern Region) and Chief Counsel (Florida District) for the legacy U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service that now comprises three separate agencies (CIS,ICE CBP).
The Florida Bar president (1995) selected me to co-author the first three Board Certification examinations in Immigration and Nationality Law.
For seven years I was featured every Sunday on public television station WLRN (Miami-Fort Lauderdale). The show was "Immigration, USA." It was one of the highest rated shows on Sunday night local television.
I have been listed for fifteen years in The Best Lawyers in America. My law firm was selected in 2010 by U.S. News and World Report magazine as one of The Best Law Firms.
Several of the articles I have written have been published in the Florida Bar Journal. I also have several published decisions resulting from cases in the U.S. District Court and U.S. Court of Appeals.

I endorse this lawyer. I have known Mr. Brauwerman for over twenty years. He is a consummate attorney with admirable breadth of knowledge and experience. He has held important positions as reflected in his profile, from INS District Counsel to Immigration Judge, and many others in between. His clients could not be better served.
