I am a civil/commercial litigator turned family lawyer who concentrates my practice on marital and family law and related litigation. I handle everything from dissolution of marriage and post-judgment modification to domestic violence, relocation, paternity, and dependency actions involving the Department of Children & Families. I also handle prenuptial and related agreements and serve as a guardian ad litem and attorney ad litem for children in need.
I have extensive litigation experience, particularly handling family law matters, having focused my practice on family law for the past several years. I worked with a highly respected Boca Raton law firm for many years prior to starting my own practice where I litigated highly contested family, probate, and guardianship matters at all stages of proceedings, including trial and appeals. Before that I worked with high-powered South Florida law firms including Akerman Senterfitt representing sophisticated corporate clients in product liability, mass tort, and commercial matters in state and federal courts across the country. Our clients included manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, heavy construction equipment, luxury yachts, and other high-profile products, providing me with aggressive, extensive litigation and courtroom training and experience. Prior to working in the private sector, I served as a judicial law clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, Florida, handling civil, criminal, and family law appeals.
