Huda Ajlani was born and raised in Florida. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa and got her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics. She moved to South Florida in 2003 to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University. While she was in law school, she was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as an intern at the Public Defender’s Office in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. Upon graduation, she was hired as an Assistant Public Defender. She began her career representing Juveniles in criminal court. She was then promoted to Lead Attorney in a Felony division where she handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors such as DUI, battery, possession of marijuana, petit theft, prostitution, trespass, driving while license suspended to all felonies such as Grand Theft, Burglary, Aggravated Battery, Robbery, Firearm charges, Trafficking, Drug Charges, Sex Charges, and Fraud and even Murder in the First Degree. She has had numerous jury trials and non jury trials at both the felony and misdemeanor levels. Ms. Ajlani is also a graduate of the Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College which is a by invitation only program for trial lawyers that represent the people and not government entities or corporations.
