Before founding the Levinson & Capuano, LLC, Cary worked for a small Fort Lauderdale law firm, specializing in the areas of divorce and paternity. The focus of Cary’s work was essentially father’s rights as related to paternity and time sharing (custody and visitation) issues. Cary understands the situations fathers are placed in when going through a divorce, trying to modify issues already set out in a divorce, or fighting for a father’s rights in a paternity action. Cary believes that each parent is equally capable of raising children, until proven otherwise, and will fight to represent your family rights.
Cary attended law school at Florida International University College of Law. Cary was involved in several law school organizations, including The Real Property Probate and Trust Law Student Section of the Florida Bar, the Sports and Entertainment Legal Society, and the Jewish Law Students Association. During law school, Cary volunteered for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Family Court Self-Help Center, assisting Dade County residents in the drafting and submission of various legal documents and forms. This experience opened his eyes to the difficulties that face litigants who choose to enter the legal system without legal representation. Additionally, Cary expressed an interest in Commercial Law, motivating his interest in completing an independent study with Professor Scott Norberg. Cary spent time researching the Uniform Commercial Code, specifically its application to new technologies and possible exceptions to the Code’s writing requirement.
Cary brings to The Levinson & Capuano, LLC a strong business background, both in study and in practice. Cary received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business, with Cum Laude honors. Cary has also participated in the formation of several family businesses from the ground up. Cary’s background in business situates him to be an effective advisor to your business, providing a true understanding of the practical ramifications of all legal business decisions.
With an understanding that the law does not remain constant, Cary believes that successfully practicing law is not only a matter of experience, but also a matter of staying on top of the changes, adapting to new legal environments, and thinking on your feet.

I didn't need to know Cary for long to know how sharp he is. So I pretty much expected that he'd excel in whatever field he chose. His knowledge of family law is superlative, and his professionalism is unquestioned. I highly endorse him.
