During her time at St. Thomas University School of Law, Ms. Hernandez was a competitor and member of the school’s International Moot Court Team and a charter member of the Rosemary Barkett Appellate Inn of Court. Additionally, Ms. Hernandez became the founding president of the student organization titled Law Student’s for Human Rights where she spear headed several events that brought awareness to the community of the various human rights violations occurring around the world. During her final semester at St. Thomas University School of Law, Ms. Hernandez had the opportunity of interning for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office Juvenile Division.

Since graduating from law school Ms. Hernandez has dedicated her career to the practice of immigration and nationality law, criminal law and family law. Ms. Hernandez has represented clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) on family-based petitions, applications for residency, asylum applications, applications for citizenship and employment based petitions.
