About me

Easley Appellate Practice, a leading appellate law firm, focuses on delivering a full range of appellate and trial support services, particularly in complex and multi-jurisdictional matters.  Our core substantive sectors within appellate practice are business/commercial law, health law and medical malpractice (defense), criminal law and complex statutory and constitutional issues.  The firm is experienced in prosecuting and defending Florida state and federal civil, administrative and criminal law appeals. We work in an appellate capacity, from the trial court to the Supreme Court.

The firm is based on these four core principles: service, experience, continued study and enthusiastic commitment to excellence in appellate practice and trial support.

The results of this approach speak for themselves. Most recently, the firm's founder headed the appellate groups with several health care litigation firms representing national clients.  In addition to advancing appeals and writs in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Florida's Supreme and District Courts of Appeal, the firm has argued complex statutory and constitutional law issues in state and federal trial courts.

Ms. Easley is recognized with an AV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest available rating for ethics and legal preeminence in the legal community. She is also board certified by The Florida Bar in appellate practice since 2003, and is recognized by her peers as one of the Legal Elite (top 1.9 percent of all Florida Lawyers), in Trend Magazine, as a “Top Appellate Lawyer”, South Florida Legal Guide since 2006, and a “Florida Super Lawyer” (top 5 percent of all Florida lawyers), Super Lawyer Magazine since 2006.
