About Me 

Norma Lorenzo graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University College of Law in 2005.  Prior to that she recieved her B.S. degree in Chemistry from Barry University in Miami Shores in 1998 and her  M.S. degree in Forensic Science from Florida International University in 2002.  Ms. Lorenzo was Editor-in-Chief of the FIU Law Review and recieved the Publication and Excellence Award in 2005 for her services. She made Dean's List for her excellent scholarship throughout her years in law school and recieved top paper awards in several classes.  She is admitted into the Florida Bar and is a member of  AILA (American Immigration Law Association).  She has several years of experience dealing in a variety of complex immigration cases including but not limited to National Interest Waivers, Research/Professor Greencard (EB-1), Executive Greencards (EB-1) and various non-immigrant visas.  She represents many large companies and is responsible for  their immgration needs.  Ms. Lorenzo also represents clients facing deportation orders and those in need of bonds before the immigration court.  Ms. Lorenzo has worked for various firms both situated in Miami and Connecticut and has served as in house cousel for an employee mobility company where she did not only in bound immigration visas but also out bound visas for countries including but not limited to Spain, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina.  Ms. Lorenzo is now the Managing Partner at the Hermanni Law Group.  The Hermanni Law Group is a full service boutique sized (7 attorney big) national immigration law firm which represents clients across the US.  Additionally, she authored a bi-weekly immigration column in a spanish Connecticut newspaper entitled La Identidad and is currently featured on Thursday from 11 am to noon on Caracol Radio where she addresses hot immigration issues on a weekly basis.
