About Me

Born in Philadelphia, PA., Cary G. Blake graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in criminal justice. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in 2001 where he was elected Senator to the Student Bar Association.


 


Mr. Blake’s primary practice is immigration law. He handles a wide variety of services from employment and family-based immigration to representation of individuals in removal proceedings. He represents individuals, including professionals, entrepreneurs (EB-5 investor visas), artists, entertainers and athletes seeking either temporary or permanent residence. Mr. Blake has been particularly successful representing foreign investors, individuals seeking political asylum, defending legal permanent residents (green card holders) and other aliens (non-citizens) before the Immigration Court.


 


In addition to his immigration practice Mr. Blake is a certified mediator and successfully represents debtors and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy petitioners but only in the state of New Jersey where he hold his bar license.


 


Last, Mr. Blake successfully represents claimants through the rigorous, lengthy and trying process of applying for Social Security Disability Benefits or SSDI.


 


Mr. Blake is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New Jersey State Bar, United States District Court of New Jersey and certified by the Florida Supreme Court to conduct circuit civil and family mediations. He has mediated a wide range of disputes, including but not limited to, divorce, child custody, personal injury, contract and foreclosure mediations.
