Jason Odom was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. Following high school, Jason enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving time on active duty and the reserves.
Jason attended college at the University of Central Florida, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After college, Jason attended and graduated from the Stetson University College of Law.
After graduating from law school, Jason worked in Tampa with Thompson, Sizemore & Gonzalez, P.A., a labor & employment law firm, representing large, national employers and governmental entities. While in Tampa, Jason served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division, where he spearheaded projects that benefited foster children.
Jason returned home to Vero Beach in 2006, with his wife Brooke, to raise their two daughters, Ava and Caroline. Jason continues to work as a litigation attorney with the law firm of Gould, Cooksey, Fennell, P.A., handling cases involving employment law, commerical and business litigation, probate litigation, and personal injury. Since returning home, Jason has become active in local charitable causes, including service on the Advisory Board for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Indian River County. In 2007 and 2008, Jason was recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as one of the Top Up and Coming attorneys in the State of Florida.
