Lindsey Gergely recently represented my nephew. He was facing some rather serious charges. I was distraught and feeling sad because I know that sometimes the law will favor a woman. We dealt with Lindsey to help us with our minor son who got into trouble doing something really stupid. We met with Lindsey to discuss the situation and she provided us with good advice and was very helpful. She's smart, articulate, and my son could relate well to her. Everyone makes mistakes and every now and then, you have to answer for them. I made a very poor judgment call one night and drove home (or attempted to as it turns out) shortly after having a few drinks with friends of mine. I had never been in any kind of trouble with law enforcement in my life and the mountain I faced in front of me was daunting. License suspension, classes, etc. I panicked every minute for the first five days after I was arrested for DUI. A friend of mine told me about the Umansky Firm where I met Lindsey Gergely.

I was so tired of dealing with the parameters of the case and i just wanted it to be over with, but her endurance never failed and she remained persistent until we obtained a result that we found equitable. Everyone's case is different and no attorney can ever guarantee victory, but she will try like hell until she knows it's unfavorable for her client's interests. She diligently pursued my best result for an entire year and I could not possibly be happier with the outcome of my case or the way it was handled. I learned my lesson for sure as painless as possible.
One day turned into another and another and eventually it was time for closure to this nightmare once and for all. She filed my motion for early termination of probation and it was granted without me having to be present in court.
I don't know what I would've done if I had retained an attorney who, due to their own fault or not, treated me like another file. I needed a counselor and advocate and that is what I got with Lindsey.
